Membership
Members' regular donations make a vital difference to the funds of SLD. In addition to the financial support, it is also very encouraging indeed to know that there is a core of public support for the work that we do!
As a Member of SLD, you will receive:
- a pack which contains basic information on the SLD and all its projects;
- a twice-yearly newsletter which keeps you up to date with the SLD’s projects and developments in the Scots language;
- the opportunity to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting of the SLD.
You can pay for membership with a cheque in UK pounds sterling made out to Scottish Language Dictionaries, or with a credit card using PayPal.
Please give us your postal and email addresses; once we receive your payment, we will send you the details as described above, as well as details on how to claim your membership discount.
It is very helpful to us if our UK members establish a monthly or annual banker's order. If you are a UK taxpayer and you decide to donate any funds at all to the SLD, please remember to complete the Gift Aid form that we send you or if paying online select the relevant box; the Inland Revenue will refund to us 28% on everything that you give.
