Making a payment to SLD
There are various ways of making payments to SLD, whether you're making a donation, paying your membership subscription or paying for a sponsoring a word.
Whichever payment method you use, remember that if you're a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation to us by 25% by allowing us to reclaim Gift Aid on it. In each tax year you must pay income tax or capital gains tax of at least the amount to be reclaimed for that year.
You can use a credit or debit card to pay via PayPal - just click on the 'Make a donation' link below, which will take you to the PayPal site. Once you have entered details of your payment and continued to the 'Review your information' page, you can allow us to claim Gift Aid on your donation it by clicking on 'Gift Aid instructions - Add' (under your address), and pasting the following wording into the textbox provided:
"I declare that I am a UK taxpayer and wish Scottish Language Dictionaries to recover tax on my donations. I confirm that in each tax year I pay income or capital gains tax of at least the amount to be reclaimed for that year."
